choosing the right skirt

As the winters are about to come to an end within a month, your wardrobe needs to be re-checked again to fill in the right clothes for spring season. Skirts perhaps are a gracious way to emphasize your feminine look and make you feel pretty and sophisticated. But it is very important for you to pick a skirt of the right length, right fabric and right style to go with your body type. Hemlines go up and down with each season, according to the whims of fashion designers, but choosing the right hemline for your body type is important no matter what the current style might be. Different body types are suited to different styles of skirt and even though you may be dying to wear that new ruffled mini or knee length pencil skirt, whether or not it will work on you depends on what you are personally suited for. Finding the right skirt length for your age and body type is an important element of looking your best.

If your bust, waist and hip measurements are similar, then you will probably want a skirt that will help create some curves. It’s better if you go for skirts with structure like an A-line or knife pleat skirts will do. Even puffy skirts with tulle or netting in them, or flowy skirts made of substantial fabric will also look good. If you are tall, a tiered skirt will work nicely, as would a floor length skirt of any material. Women with hourglass frames generally are not that tall so, the last thing you would want would be a skirt that is going to overpower your small frame. Stay away from floor length skirts and skirts made of materials like crushed velvet. Also avoid wearing shapeless skirts, as it will hide the curves. Avoid wearing anything that is cut at the calf. This cut will make your legs look shorter than they actually are. It is better if you opt for skirts that will accentuate your curves and give a nice shape while drawing attention away from anything you don’t like about your hips and thighs. A slightly flared A-Line skirt, cut at the knee or just above, will not highlight your bottom much and leave just enough leg showing.

For women with a pear-shaped frame, its better to wear skirts that makes your bottom seem less heavy than it is actually. Wearing dark-colored smooth tailored skirt will do the minimizing trick nicely. Avoid wearing large prints and big pleated as it highlights your bottom all the more. Women with round bodies have fewer options to go for. They should avoid wearing shapeless skirts or skirts with big prints as it will make them look all the more fuller. A flared A-line skirt cut at the knee or a tailored skirt with work done at the waist will give a good profile.

Refer the above points and look appealing in the skirt that is made for you!

Short Skirts are Really Sexy

Skirts are really fascinating garments that could really make a girl look hot, if worn properly. Skirts can make some one inviting and beautiful. They can also at the same time create an image that is not very positive for a woman. The length of a skirt is extremely important. The length decides many things. If the skirt is too short, the girl could get the wrong kind of attention. It may not look good or suitable for her body type. Similarly a long skirt might look awkward for her body type. It makes her look more conservative than she is.

Short Skirts
A short miniskirt is not for everyone. The younger you are, the short skirts are best and perfect. Take care; there are chances of short skirts exposing parts of a woman’s body that just shouldn’t be exposed! If you find it hard to sit down, or bend down, without showing your panties, then remember, the skirt is too short for you. The skirt might fit you well, but if you are older, say a mom of two, then take care not to wear a skirt short as a junior high school student. At the knee or lower is better for women over 30. May be you have tall and sexy legs, but take car not to expose it completely. Covering them just a little can look more attractive than exposing them completely.

The length of your skirt is mostly depended upon your age, height and body type. To get the perfect skirt, just take time in selection. Try to give some time and thought and damn sure, you could grab the best skirt. Try out different lengths and styles of skirts. You never will know unless you try some skirts on.

Remember never will all short or long skirts work for every girl. So just try your own judgement.
