The most thrilling part about Christmas is the Christmas-eve party. With the perfect mood, perfect ambience, drinks and gossips it is also important to choose the right outfit. During the night time, unlike the cute and sporty look for the day time, one should try out more feminine and chic looks for the evening. Evening wear this Christmas means having a beautiful yet a relaxed feel. Wear things that suit your body, makes you look gorgeous but also comfortable from inside. All the ultra-fitted skimpy and uncomfortable outfits are out this season. Popular fabrics this Christmas are georgette, sheer, lace, polyester, satin, silk, chiffon and velvet. Essential colors for the night include more neutral shades like blacks, browns, and wine, gold, silver, bronze or even bright shades like red, teal and turquoise also look elegant.
You can pick a nice looking elegant evening gown. Georgette dress fabric falls very elegantly. If you wish to wear dresses having spaghetti straps, then make sure that they are flowing at the bottom and you accessorize with a georgette scarf worn over your shoulders that falls to the top of the knees. You can wear stretch dresses if you want a slender and tight-fitted look. Dresses with French detail having short sleevesare also in this season and they give a lovely face look.
If you want to try out something else apart from the traditional one-piece look sported by maximum women, then you can experiment with different tops or cardigans going with the right skirt or pair of lowers. Satin tops blend style with comfort and make great evening wear. A shirt with long cuffs with artistic stripes can be worn unbuttoned or turned up. You can also try lose-fitted off-shoulder lacy tops with fitted short skirts. Make sure that the skirt is not too short as micro-mini skirts are out of trend. A tube top with a detailed neckline can also do if you want to sport a busty look. Wearing fitted lowers till the knee with matching heels will make you look elegant. Tank tops with a rounded neck and a glittering front print are popular and can be worn with either skirts or pants. The Victoria style cardigan i.e. lace and pear cut with flare sleeves is very popular for the season. It can be worn with stretch black pants with clean front styling and extended waist band.
With the dresses and scarves, one should also take care of sporting the right footwear and jewelry matching with your dress. Heels are in anyway for an evening party. As for jewelry,wear heavy and detailed ones if your outfit is plain and simple and small ones if it’s the other way round. Always make sure you look balanced and not over or under-dressed.
