What is the most essential item in your closet? Well if you consider anything other than your bra, you need to think again. A huge majority of women today ignore the most important part of their wardrobe and this piece of information is aimed at educating every girl and woman to emphasize upon quality of bras.

A recently concluded study revealed that as many as 80 percent are not wearing the right bra size, which is a shocking revelation to say the least. Let us read some tips about selecting bras so that you always choose the best bra size and be proud of your most treasured assets.

It is highly recommended that you always opt for a bra one size smaller than the actual. The small bra size must be related to band and not bra cup size (i.e. If you’re a 36, get a 34 and if you’re 34, get a 32). This is because bras get loose after the wash and the one size smaller would be just the perfect fit for you, after a wash. Secondly, the bra shouldn’t be held by straps but by the band, which is the part hooking around the ribcage. If you want to know if it is time to purchase a new bra, you can notice the same if the bra is not staying up on its own without the straps.
