Maintaining healthy and glossy hair

Do you suffer from a nagging problem of hair fall? Millions of women around the globe are suffering from this problem especially the young lot. They suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair that fall off easily. There is no particular age for hair fall. It may happen for many reasons like tension, too much work, some sort of illness, poor diet intake, over-exposure to the sun, perming, amateur bleaching and even too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colorants that cause harm to natural growth of hair. At times the water we use to bathe can also be a reason. Use of harsh water while washing your hair, cause weakening and breakage of hair strands and make them dry and dull. So if your hair has started to fall off at a rapid rate, some simple steps will prevent any further loss of hair.
In order to have healthy hair it is very important to keep tour scalp clean. So, shampoo regularly if you have an oily scalp as a clean scalp is a healthy scalp. Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair twice a week and make sure to wash it off thoroughly after use. Use of herbal oils like brahmi amla oil also helps in hair growth. Use of almond oil, castor oil and olive oil is also good to acquire healthy and shiny hair. Apart from this, diet control and water intake should also be proper. Maintain a healthy diet intake and drink plenty of water- at least 10-12 glasses per day. Your diet should contain essential vitamins in order to curb hair problems. Iron is very important for healthy hair and limp and brittle hair indicates its deficiency. Spinach has rich iron content in it so include it in your diet on regular basis. Zinc is another essential component as it prevents hair loss and graying. So its important to eat zinc rich food stuff. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency and hence at times suffer from hair loss. Food stuff containing wholegrain flour and stone ground are rich in zinc.
Different vitamins are also essential for a good hair growth. Vitamin B is essential for gloss, colour and thickness. Its deficiency may cause dandruff and graying of hair. Vitamin C is also an essential for supplying blood to hair follicles. It is present in rich amount in fresh fruits and vegetables. Vitamin E also encourages hair growth. It is found in eggs, vegetable oil and whole meal. Copper is yet another element that stops hair from falling. Include some quantity of nuts like peanuts and cashews, seeds and whole milk in your diet.
Apart from diet control, meditation to avoid unnecessary stress is yet another way to maintain good hair.
