We all love wearing clothes. But how many times have you felt that despite your best dress or a pair of jean, something still goes missing. Something that may not be very apparent until you have really worn it but may add a great amount of zing to your clothing. I am sure many of us can relate to this because we all love dressing and stylizing ourselves in a manner that is unique only to us and forms our identity.
Alright we all know that clothes maketh the man. But if you are dwelling in present times and intend to brush up your style skills, accessories are the flavor of the season and can be manipulated to add zing in your ensemble. Yes, accessories are what that adds to our style quotient in a big big way. Or in other words let me tell you that accessories are like an icing on the cake, the brilliance of a diamond, the little amount of alcohol present in our adult beverage.
For all those who want to know what does accessories actually include, it consists of earrings, hair bands, bracelets, belts, neck gears, bags, purses, rings so on and so forth.
My friends who have been thinking that accessories don’t have any major role to play in an individual’s attire, let me tell you that with the right accessories even the most banal outfit can be turned into an extremely stylish ensemble. Let me tell you how. If you are wearing just a simple shirt and a pair of jean, you can accentuate your look by a jazzy bag and some lovely pair of earrings such as danglers or colorful hoops. This is much better an option as compared to buying expensive clothes each time you want to change your look or want to look glamorous.
Well, just to add on a little more let me point one more wardrobe essential. One more thing that adds greatly to your attire are your shoes. They can make a world of difference when it comes to accentuating your look because they act as great cohorts to accessories that we use. If you want to add to dash of color to the plain clothing you wear at office and feel that putting on colored hoops will seem out of place, then shoes act as a best means that help match it. Yes, you can wear a pair of shoes matching your any accessory you wear, be it your bracelet, your earrings, your neck lace or even the bag you choose. The only thing that you have to make sure is the color of your accessory should be in contrast with your apparel. Every color that you choose for yourself should compliment each other as well as your personality.
So now that you know what zing can accessories add to your attire, what are you waiting for? There’s a whole new world right there, waiting to be explored by you.

STRUCTURED CUTS
The loose and flowing silhouettes of the past few months were a godsend for women with body like jiggly tummies and saggy breasts. And they used this style to hide these flaws. Well, the good times are over.
Fashion gurus predict that the structured cut will become really big in the winter that will see the arrival of figure hugging coats or jackets.
SMALL BAGS
Big bags are still going strong. But the international trend is on the wane and the size of bags is gradually decreasing. Smaller bags, including clutches, in every possible material, from silk to leather to satin, are getting popular but are likely to co-exist with big bags.
Small bags are handy for an evening out and go with any attire. Also, unlike big bags, they don’t take away the attention from your attire.
WAIST UP
The low-rise style has been around for a few years now so its ouster was not only expected, it was awaited. The high-waist style is inspired by the vintage look and has been sneaking up on us for a few months now. It is available in the market for both skirts and trousers.
As compared to low waists, high waists flatter most of us because they hold us in at all the right places and give us a smooth silhouette. Wear high waist trousers or skirts with tucked in tops. One should sport high-waist hat cling to the upper waist since that is slimmer than the lower waist. Allow the pants/skirt to seam down from there. That way you can hide a big butt too.
PEEP TOES
This is a versatile time for footwear fashion with all styles of heels co-existing happily like a big fat, joint family. So you have pencil heels rubbing heels with wedges that co-exist along with platforms.
However, the shoe style of the season is not the heel, it is the toe. The one trend in fashion that is really hot this season is the peep toe, an elegant girlie style, peep-toe is the most popular style, but the comfortable ballerinas will still be in demand.
OTHER TRENDS TO WATCH OUT FOR:
• Over sized jewel fastenings on bags.
• Minaudiere bags with bracelet handle or chains.
• Layered and structured asymmetric dresses.
• Unusual heel decorations and details on mod-high heels.
• Knee-length skirts
• Boots.
• Lantern sleeves.
• Long flowing gowns.
• Trench coats.

Each of us are born with a particular body type and have to face some challenges when it comes to choosing what to wear that’ll suit us the best. Some times we end up goofing up the way we look because we don’t know to pick in order to hide that extra bulge or accentuate our figures if we are too petite. However, the good news is that whatever type of body we have, there are not one but many ways in which we can adorn ourselves to look the best we can. Let’s have a look at the basic body types.
Plus Size:
Women who have larger frames are often seen wearing clothes that are lose for them. This clearly indicates that they are only wearing them to hide the extra fat to make sure that the bulge is not visible to any one. However, the importance of plus size is that it makes sure you are buying clothes that fit you well rather than wearing something that only hides your flab.
Talls:
One thing to be noted here is that if a woman is tall in height, it doesn’t necessarily mean that she has to always wear clothes of tall size only. Some tall women may have long legs where as some of them may have long waists. So one should always check the inseam for the product and then buy a particular piece.
Petites:
Petites include women having an average height of 5’4” and under. There are three major measurements that need to be kept in mind for their pant sizing – the inseam, waist and length. Where petites are usually said to have only shorter legs, it the whole body that needs to be accounted for. Hence small accessories and thin belts work best on such structures.
Well, all’s well as long as our bodies are proportionate. The real challenge comes in when we develop certain disparities in our body proportions and don’t know how to deal with it. In my forth coming article, I’ll be talking in detail about how we can dress up to balance such variances as tastefully as possible. So long!
