Do you wear the right size???

Do you wear the Wrong-sized Bra?
The most frequent reason is that many women are simply not alert of their current correct size. Just like her figure a woman’s breasts transform over time. Therefore she needs to be re-measured each few years as she may be trying a bra that is either too big or too small.

• Bra-fitting experts suggest re-evaluating your measurements once every 2 years, or more often if you have gained weight, lost weight or had a new baby.

• In Twiggy, A Guide to Looking and Feeling Fabulous at 40 (Michael Joseph 2008), June Kenton, special corsetiere to Queen Elizabeth II and owner of Rigby & Peller quoted “when you are a teenager, your breasts are filled in the cup….if you take the pill, they boost in size again.” When pregnant, according to Kenton, “your breasts go wild and might not go back down to their actual size.” It s also worth noting that all through the menopause, breasts can also enlarge by up to 2 bust sizes or may shrink, depending on whether a woman is getting HRT treatment.

Another reason is it may be complex to find the right bra.

• A woman who wishes super-sized bra cups which are not naturally stocked in most commercial stores may try and squeeze into an easily existing size. In a survey it has been found around 60% of women wearing a C cup should in fact be at least a D.

• Well-endowed Western women existing in Asia, find it very tricky to find correctly decent bras. In Thailand for example anything above a C cup is as uncommon as hen’s teeth. Conversely, though, for women with petite busts, Asia offers a huge choice of styles from 30A cups.

The symbols of a Bad Bra
A good fitting bra can alter a woman’s figure. Unfortunately so can an awful one — negatively. The following signs are probable to be indications of a badly-fitting bra..

Breasts spill over the top or the sides of a bra.

• The back of the bra is riding up and is not plane with the under wiring at the front.

• There is no breach between the breast and under wiring.

• Imprints of bra straps on the shoulders.

• The wearer is overly mindful of a bra when wearing it.

• The bra irritates the skin, causes skin abrasions, or digs into the breast itself.

• There is wrinkling in the cup, due to surplus fabric — bra is too big

• There is wrinkling in the cup at the tip — bra is too tiny

• The bra moves a bit when arms are raised

How to Find the ideal Fitting Bra
There is an integer of methods to find the correct bra size. One of which includes taking body measurements under the ribcage and across the bust. It is always paramount to get a professional fitting at a highly regarded store but by paying attention to the tips above, this is a good principle for blitzing the bras in your present wardrobe.

Finding the ideal fit not only means taking into account the sizing but also the product, bra style (under wire, balcony, and push-up full-coverage) and strap breadth. When it comes to bigger than a D cup, cup sizes differ slightly between the UK, USA and the rest of Europe.

BACK TO FRONT

Those last look over the shoulder, the slight curving of the lips and the absolute confidence that the person you are saying goodbye to will never forget you. It is a gesture that can make men falter in their steps or bang in to the nearest pillar, a look that is rendered more effective by a deep, plunging neckline….on the back.

This is a subtle statement of oomph that can be worn by every woman, regardless of her body type. All you need to do is tweak the essential idea-go from a corset top that leaves your back encased in zigzag ties, to a sharp V or a more gradual U that stops right above your bra strap , t a neckline that cowls gracefully and hovers near the small of your back. Backless fashion is not for the obvious. This is not the in-your-face sexiness of low cut thighs. This is about discreet sensuality…of the curved silhouette of the upper torso slimming into your waist. Once you understand its power, choosing the right backless outfit is a snap.

When you are busty, you need to have a good bra, so the back doesn’t plunge below your bra strap. But the skinny cam really play around with this style-they can go for the more fitted variety that shows off their toned body.

Bra brouhaha
To avoid disasters like that, the best option is to just go for stick-on bras. Essentially these bras are like suction caps that give support without any help from bulky or even stringy straps. Women with A to D cups can comfortably wear this kind of bra. With larger cup sizes, the engineering goes a little wonky. If you have an even larger size, you go for the backless bra where the back strap is really low-mush lower than a conventional bra, almost near the waist. So you can still wear tops that have really low backs without revealing anything. Ideally, stay away from the age-old plastic straps. They can be a tacky finish to a beautiful outfit.

Then and now
While backless outfits do create an illusion of length, women with short torso should avoid this style. But women with longer torsos should flaunt this style every chance they get.

FLAUNT YOUR SKIN

You may have gasped at the way Mallika Sherawat pushed up her star ratings on the red carpet at Cannes with her bare-all act. But you don’t always have to go over the top to get noticed. There are more subtle ways to show off your assets. Every fashion era has had its favorites. Be it the bust, ear, nose, legs or buttocks, celebs the world over have played a dominant role in making a particular “asset” the fashion statement of the year.

For instance, singing sirens J Lo and Beyonce made buttocks the most wanted and focussed part of a woman’s body.

However our fashion gurus say there is no need for drastic measures. A better way to be sexy is to identify your best body part and highlight it.

Get leggy
A bit of leg show can make you look sexy and sensuous without being looking vulgar. To show off your toned legs, wear short skirts or hot pants. If you prefer skirts, pick up a flouncy or pleated one, or better still, get into a tight number covering the hips. Even just above the knee length skirts have the same appeal.

And once you get in to the right outfit, all you really need to do to complete the look is get in to the right shoes. A pair of high heels works best.

Going bust
This is one part of the woman’s anatomy that has inspired men world over- from poets to fashion designers to streetside Romeos, everybody loves a bit of cleavage. And the size varies according to global trends. There was a time when flat was in.

Times changed and so did the cup size. Today, women (and men) feel size matters. And that’s good business for the silicon industry and plastic surgeons. For the less adventurous, there is the magical push-up bra!

Fab abs
The abs must be flat, almost concave. The look is fitted on the top. There is nothing like a well-draped sari to show off a flat stomach. It can be painted or have a stick on crystal tattoo.

Arm twisting
You can wear full sleeves with detailing on the arms such as texturing and smocking. If you are wearing a sleeveless, an armlet or a temporary/permanent tattoo can enhance the look.

But don’t forget the wrist. It is the new erogenous zone. The three quarter or bracelet length sleeves with a twist is the way to go about it.
