The balancing act!

How often do you find yourself in a flux regarding what to wear so that your heavy bottom doesn’t look odd or your heavy top doesn’t embarrass you when people look at you? We all are born with body types unique to ourselves but that doesn’t restrict us from wearing ensembles which we otherwise only see models wearing. In this article I’ve come up with some great fashion tips that’ll help you camouflage your body variances and make you look just as dandy as you’ve always dreamt of!

Top heavy

If the upper portion of your body is heavier, this is how you can go about it:

• Wear tops and dresses that show off your cleavage but tastefully.

• Just because your chest is heavy or your girth wide, never wear anything that looks as if it is clinging on to you.
Pick something that is neither too tight nor too baggy.

• Your neckline should not be so long that people just keep staring at the middle all the time. In order to cover it, try wearing accessories like necklaces or scarves.

• Wearing knee length skirts always helps in balancing your broad upper portion. Just that the skirts you wear should not taper at the bottom.

• Always try to bring attention to attractive areas of your body. For females with heavy tops, tank tops draped with stoles work the best as it brings the attention to your arms and shoulders.

• Blouses you wear with pants or shirts should be wrapped in a manner that it looks very attractive. They should not be too tight, however!

Bottom heavy

• Heavy bottoms always leaves us wondering about what designs to wear and what not so that whatever we wear doesn’t accentuate our body variance. Here are some tips that’ll help you in this regard:

• Always wear dark colors for your lowers and light shades for your tops. This will bring people’s attention upwards.

• Creating a long line from top to the bottom by using a uniform color always works well.

• If you wear fitted jackets, make sure they end above your widest part to avoid the eye from going there.

Therefore we see that there is not just one but many ways in which we can manipulate our clothing in order to hide certain disproportions in our bodies. There is still a vast gamut of tips waiting for you in the forth coming articles so stay put and happy clothing till we meet again!
