THE EVERLASTING EYES


Introduction

Mascara has been around in the make up kit of women since 4000 BC.

Young girls then used charcoal and other minerals to darken their lashes and eyelids. Women can go to great lengths in order to look great and have expressive eyes which look stunning. This cosmetic has gone through different stages since then. It first appeared in the form of pressed cake that was applied by a wet brush. In the next generation it involved a lotion like version of soap cake that was squeezed into a small brush to apply. Now it is created with the invention of a grooved brush which has a great impact and stays longer.

Ingredients in the cosmetic

The mascara actually contains the color pigments. Carbon black and iron oxides gives black, brown, and red colors to the eyes; chemicals Ultramarine blue provide blue and green shades. These chemicals are mixed together in an emulsion of oils, water or wax.

The waterproof and smudge proof properties are given by Beeswax, Ozokerite, Stearic Acid, and Shellac which makes the main body.

How does it work?

Use of mascara should be known before applying.

When you pull the brush out of the mascara tube, a metering ring scrapes out the excess mascara so the brush now contains the right amount to be applied on the lashes. Due to the high wax concentration, it is water proof. This way it prevents from smudging and bleeding. This results your eye lashes to look much longer, thicker and sexier.

Types of mascara

Vibrating mascara: this new trend of vibrating mascara stimulates the motion the way a professional make up artist would do to your eyes. Both LANCOME and ESTEE LAUDER have launched the vibrating wands. In order to really apply properly you need to wiggle the wand back and forth.

Oscillating mascara: LANCOME has recently launched this effective mascara in town in order to give a prettier effect to your eyes.

Intense volume mascara: Deep black completely captivating mascara gives your eyes the magnetic effect .it provides a rich new voluminizing color to the lashes which coats with a creamy texture and thus emphasizes the smoky look.

Natural color mascara: there is some mascara in the market which just gives the natural yet a better look to your eyes without making them much dramatic.

Bionic mascara: Revlon color stay overtime lash tint has come out with this new range of mascaras which stays longer. It does not smudge/fleck/crumble. Ionic mascara gives your lashes brilliant shine and comes with a specially designed no clump brush and contains aloe, wheat protein, silk and olive oil to strengthen and condition.

Finding the perfect mascara is a complex thing, do not close your eyes and go for the expensive ones instead settle for the one which suits your eyes and realize the sensitivity of your gorgeous eyes.
