There is no limit to the fashion trends that make their way every now and then emptying us of our hard earned money. While I am not against this, I still think that we go about judiciously looking out for clothes and other items, we can save a great deal on your wardrobe. All we need is to understand fashion in a more realistic way.
Fashion does not mean wearing anything and everything that hits the stores every season. Fashion means following the current trend but in a way that it makes you look your stylish best without going overboard. The same thing stands for us. If you see a woman wearing almost every piece of jewelry with a glittery dress that is reigning the fashion charts this season, the first feeling you’ll get seeing her is if she there for window shopping or what?
My idea here is looking fashionable and stylish needs a lot of sense and it has nothing to do with wearing expensive clothes alone. You can also look good and equally stylish in your limited resources, provided you know how and from where to fill your closet from.

Let’s start with accessories! If you know which accessory to buy for yourself, you can render multiple looks to yourself with just that one piece. And it indeed saves a lot of money as well. For example, you can go in for a bangle bracelet or a distinctive neck lace which you know will work on different outfits you have. It can go on to become your signature look, eliminating any need for you to have a closet full of accessories.
Invest in stretch fabrics!
The biggest advantage with stretch fabrics is that it can accommodate your body even if you add on a little bit of baby fat here and there. Normally, you’ll have to buy a different set of clothes altogether to fit you ideally but in this case, you don’t have to buy black pants in three sizes. In the past stretch clothes used to come in a bad rap, usually polyester but now the fabric is so subtle and comfortable that you alone will the best person knowing it.
Also if you invest in a few cocktail dresses made up of fine fabrics, you’ll save yourself from buying these short-term trendy clothes that hit the stores for limited intervals.
So we see that knowing what to buy and from where will not only save you a great deal of money but also free you from the panic of thinking what to wear in order to look your very best!
